With 26 years spent as part of Utah’s public health workforce, West serves as the Workforce Development Coordinator in Primary Care and Rural Health. As a warrior against tobacco and opioid use disorders, West has worked in a variety of settings including local health departments, state government, higher education, mental health and even advertising. Passionate about health equity and behavioral health, Anna is excited to work to address health care shortages in rural Utah. A proud graduate of Utah State University and Snow College, Anna grew up largely in rural Utah.
