With a deep passion for strengthening rural healthcare, I serve as a Rural Health Specialist for the South Dakota State Office of Rural Health, where I advocate for and support the unique needs of rural communities. My work focuses on enhancing access to quality care, providing technical assistance, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders to address workforce challenges and healthcare disparities. In addition to supporting healthcare providers, I am actively engaged in building our future healthcare workforce through South Dakota’s Scrubs Camps programs, inspiring and educating the next generation of rural healthcare professionals. I am committed to ensuring that the voices of Region E states are heard and that we continue to drive impactful policies and initiatives that support rural healthcare providers and communities.
